THE REAL STARS OF THE GOATS MOVIE still active today in global transformation

The upcoming film about the creative surge in the USArmy after Vietnam is in the editing room for a release later in the year. This somewhat dark comedy starring an A-team cast CLOONEY,BRIDGES,SPACEY,MACREGOR features some of the more frontier ideas you would expect from any military institution. But to get some insight into the kind of the real people who began this revolution in thinking we need to get to the real lives these men are living today.

Despite Jon Ronson’s distinctly sloppy reporting of key players now featured in the hollywood comedy/farce called “Men Who Stare at Goats”, if you look at the original army players work today you will find them still focused on the positive and most creative ways to set an example for positive global living.

Major General Bert Stubblebine who is featured in the early moments as a slightly mad general who deliberately walks into a wall to test the concept of slipping the silver lining or more simply put walking through a wall, is today creating a model sustainable living retreat and actively resisting corporate monopolies.

While Jim Channon also runs a sustainable model eco-homestead with radically different approaches to housing and planting and a highly sophisticated new kind of social architecture to boot. Jim’s real work is plastered on the many websites he uses to positively influence the planet with his research and visionary mind. Ronson’s image was that Jim had a sprawling private estate as if he had parlayed his military and corporate connections in some underhanded way.

To a man the key players have continued their interest in “next world” solutions. A simple review of their websites will clearly enumerate the visionary projects they continue to manifest and the kind of human beings they are and have been. Paranormal is a word that seems to cloak advanced human ways of performing in a somewhat sinister potential scenario of an army that preys upon its own. Nothing could be further from the truth.

John Alexander’s article on this site indicates the real level of commitment that he and his former Battalion members are very much still active with. John travels the planet in support of the many position papers he creates for the frontier units in special operations. He like the others …works for the planet!
